Five on Friday: March 25, 2016

1. It's that time of year when the weather forecast say 70° and yet it's still pretty chilly inside the house. So, no it's not iced coffee time yet round here. All decaf and made at home in this old $1. cup.

2. Now that Downton Abbey is finished, I have adjusted my record options with our tv. But darn that CBS. I don't usually set Madame Secretary to record since 60Minutes tends to run over time and it screws with the recording. However, trying to watch Madame Secretary on demand is not as easy as on other channels. There is a 24 hour window of availability or else they want you to pay.  Do Not Like. :(

3. Have you ever done a screencast?  Someone asked online and this tutorial makes it seem quite simple.

4. We had a 'boys night in' posole dinner last night and while 8 is a good number it's not a great seating arrangement for our table. I may have to do some furniture fiddling next time.

5.  When I came home last night after that dinner (I cook and leave. They eat.) I found leftover eclairs! omg. I had a half of one but they are calling to me....

AAM Monday: Project Life 13 Week 49

Yeah for December! I decided I didn't have time to do justice to the December Daily, so the weekly Project Life pages are pretty much my only shot at using all the lovely Christmas goodies. I held off on buying almost anything new this year, which was hard. However, now that I can see my stuff clearly in Lightroom, I hate to say....I really don't need much more of anything!

This was the first time we had one of our dinners on a Saturday night. The oldest guest, outside of my dh, has a hard time going out after work during the week. The Saturday dinner turned out to be a great idea, but there were moments when I wondered if the men WOULD go home!  Really, that's a good feeling.

On My Desk...August 13

Well today is a mess.

But that is because yesterday, I finished up some ATC bases and then spent a long - a very long time! - trying to teach myself something in PhotoshopElem. Filling a single text character with images. I did at least finally figure out how to make a Brush stamp stick to the image I was working on... I seem to have misplaced my PE book also so it was a clear off the computer desk last night from the multiple printings and clean out a few piles of papers today.

Yesterday was a fun day despite my graphics-grief. DH had one of his Boys Night In dinners, and we started the day at the Tuesday 7am Farmers' Market. Not too many vendors on Tuesdays but enough to get what we needed.

Sebastien is overwhelmed by the idea of 8 men showing up for dinner.
