My trip up to Baltimore and the Altered Book exhibit at the Encoch Pratt Library. This is the event I thought I was going to last week, and was a week early! No matter, it made a good page entry.
Art and food. Can you beat that combination, especially with fun people? I think not.

December Daily December 8 finally
The story of 'bicycle boy's' departure for Florida and warm weather. It started off with the wrong number.
Changes were made and on I went. While he drove south, I played with paints and tags.
I am finding that as much as the hybrid version is fun, it is also a lot more time consuming for me. Moving things and changing them goes so much faster with digital elements. I will have to think how I can either do this faster or go back to the digital ways.

Flashback Friday 10 12 10
Taking us back to 1945 and WWII. My second Christmas and my present from my father in Germany - a bear larger than I was. I loved that bear but as the years went on it took up a lot of space and went the way of all discarded toys. Sad, isn't it.
I can now also associate that Christmas as one year after the brutal 44-45 winter my father spent during the "mop-up" of the war as he called it. The Battle of the Bulge.
