Sometimes the oddest thing will jog your memory. Last week it was in the Giant grocery store. I saw this big ad and thought of the many many times I took my children there back in the early 80s.
Did their father balk at the cost of 4 summer passes (at about $25. then)? Yes. Do I have any photos of those many visits? No. So this photo of the current ad will have to do.
We were living in Davidsonville that summer and the new? newish? park was not too far from our house. It made for a great day out in the Maryland heat and humidity with the many pools and water slides. I don't know what the park is like today but I know it was a blessing that summer.
